Hadn’t heard abt between the temples!! Also for clam pie I would rank zuppardi’s higher bcs they do the shuck to order so it’s v fresh - but I am also more of a tomato pie person ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
"Similarly ingratiating and deceptive is Andrew, played by Raiff, who exudes an amalgam of cloying amiability and servile niceness." oh he pissed me OFF
I watched Cha Cha Real Smooth recently and felt really good about it (maybe bc I kind of want to be this perfect person who gets hurt and doesn't feel spiteful? who remains hopeful? Who is good with people?). Then I looked at Letterboxed reviews...........The comments made me think of when Ramy Youssef said that he didn't want to make Ramy (the character of his Hulu show) too likable bc it would be strange to make a show about yourself where you are perfect.
hahah.. yeah i think the character was a nice guy but the way things played out made me think that the actor/character/person had a little too much self regard and i recoiled a little. i have not heard that ramy quote before, but it totally makes sense! everyone needs a flaw..
dying at the spot on marble mouth observation 😂

Decades in ridgewood is doing a clam pizza special right now. Felt obligated to order it as someone born and raised in CT.

Ah, I really want to see Between the Temples! It's playing at my local theater (love you, Angelika) + seems to draw quite a crowd.
