Which of Luca G.'s movies is Queer most comparable to? I read somewhere that it shares DNA with A Bigger Splash, which I saw for the first time this year and loved.
That or I am love for romantic longing. he's back to his usual (non-challengers) mode. it is definitely romantically devastating, but as a a whole didn't work for me.
Deeply intrigued by the black sesame latte as I also don’t think I’ve ever had unsweetened black sesame either? can’t wait for the babygirl write up lolol
Btw, I saw between the temples on your recommendation and enjoyed it quite a bit. Looking forward to seeing these films too, if they make it to Portland
As someone who is not a festival-goer, it really does sound like there are some wonderful movies to anticipate. Really hoping A24 uncorks "Friendship" this fall.
Also noticed that reviews of most of these films thus far have been wildly different, which is low-key exciting all its own.
Wow, what a whirlwind tour through the festival! I love how you've captured the essence of each film with these short takes. And all those descriptions and pictures of food are making me so hungry—the combination of peanut butter gelato and blueberry sorbet sounds v v intriguing.
